BECOME A VOLUNTEER DEPUTY REGISTRAR (VDR)

Help Register Your Neighbors to Vote

An easy way to help increase the voting strength in our communities in Wilson County is to be available and willing to register new voters - like those who are new to your neighborhood, young adults turning 18, or anyone you meet who hasn't registered to vote. If you meet the qualifications listed below, the steps to become a VDR are as follows:

In Person Training and Exam:
Contact the Wilson County Voter Registrar, Olga Marrero at (830) 393-7380 and schedule an appointment for one-on-one VDR training and exam. Be sure to bring your driver's license or ID card with you. You can complete the training, exam and paperwork within an hour. The office is located at 103 4th Street, Suite 101 in Floresville.

As another training option, you are able to review and study the VDR training materials and simply schedule the test and paperwork as described above. Click here for the VDR Training Presentation and click here for the sample exam.
